The Walking Dead - Episode 4.07 "Dead Weight"

This week on The Walking Dead seen more of the survival of The Governor and less of the prison. We got an insight into the new group he joined, and although all seems well and good when he is pleasant, the genuine side to him shows as his evilness lurks the camp.

The Governor and Megan are rescued from the pit by Martinez, who is now in charge of a small camp of survivors. He, Lilly and Megan are living in a rundown trailer and Martinez has made it clear that he's in charge, not the Governor. As time goes by, the Governor decides that the leadership of the group is dangerously weak. He's tries to leave bur realizes that taking control of his new surroundings is likely the better course of action. He realizes they will all have to relocate and he knows exactly where they should resettle.

Sequel to 'Friday The 13th' Release Date Set

The moment all fans have been waiting for, the release date for the new sequel currently in development is 2015. Now, that sounds ages away, but it will fly in, and judging by the past record of the series it will probably be trash just like the rest. No doubt that I will watch it though, and a little part of me is screaming with excitement.

The actual release date you ask? Well the film is due to release on Friday 13th of March 2015. Paramount seem pretty egar with the set-up, as should you.

Danny Boyle Confirming that '28 Months Later' is Not Happening...

At attendance at this years Foyle Film Festival, Danny Boyle and Frank Cottrell Boyce did a Q&A for fans of the pair, and after a few audience questions, one guy came out with "Are you planning on making 28 Months Later?"

Boyle's reply indicated that there will be no 20 Months Later any time soon, if ever, but there was talks about it not long ago. "Well, we were planning on doing 20 Months Later with an idea developed, but with The Walking Dead and World War Z changing the face of zombie horror, we felt there was no space for 20 Months Later in today's sub-genre."

I absolutely love 20 Days & Weeks Later, but I love The Walking Dead more, so to hear that the soul reason for not making the sequel was because how both The Walking Dead and World War Z changed the look of zombies is a little upsetting. He has a point though, 20 Days Later basically invented the running zombie, and now all that is irrelevant. A shame really, it deserves another film.

The Walking Dead - Episode 4.06 "Live Bait" Review

This week on The Walking Dead we seen the return of The Governor, and we get a look at the life he has lived on the long and lonely road to were his is now. We took a break from the gang back at the prison to get a look at the life beyond the prison gates, and although the impact isn't as edgy as initially made out to be, 'Live Bait' displays a strong character-driven narrative the molds something new out of the previously black inked Governor. Whether this is a good thing or not is up to you.

American Horror Story: Coven - Episode 3.06 "The Axeman Cometh" Review

This week on American Horror Story Coven a ghost from the past who has a kink for chopping girls with an axe is resurrected, Fiona is dealing with her illness and a snake within the coven is discovered. This week on AHS took for the less practical root, resulting in the development of another sub-plot that the series perhaps didn't need. The series seems to be taking that direction once again, which may be cause a few bumps along the way, and with Asylum suffering from the same unresolved problem, Coven could prove to iron out the unwanted creases previous seasons tripped over. Hopefully, Coven wont stumble like the previous season, and if the sub-plots are taken further, seeing a full explanation and tie-up would be great, with loose ends completely eliminated. Who knows, its Murphy, he may just end it in one big tangle.

The Walking Dead - Episode 4.05 "Internment" Review

This Week on The Walking Dead we got one hell of a treat. There was a severe zombie outbreak, a flue crisis, and Hershel's good deeds coming back to bite him in the ass. Prepare yourselves viewers, as you are in for the best episode of the Season, perhaps best episode of all time. Well, I wouldn't go that far but you know what I mean; take my word for it, it's all kinds of great.

American Horror Story: Coven - Episode 3.05 "Burn, Witch. Burn!" Review

This Week on American Horror Story we got a zombie attack, some family ties, a visit to the burn's victim unit, Spalding playing with dolls (again) and a self-explanatory event even used in the title to top it all of. All of this is a combination that made one fun episode to watch.

Sleepy Hollow - Episode 1.06 "The Sin Eater" Review

Sleepy Hollow returned this week, albeit not much of a return - The show proves to become tedious with progression, and it's over-complicated plot just makes the show at this stage look arrogant, and not smart. The show has come a long way, and unfortunately not for this best; Sleepy Hollow is visible proof of a show that can't handle the name, and sadly it only seems to be going downhill from here. Let's hope not, I still need to finish the season.

'All Cheerleaders Die' Gets a Poster and Trailer

All Cheerleaders Die, an upcoming undead sassy comedy that bends the sub-genre in new, fun ways. I will give this a watch of course (the sound of the title is so snappy and I love it), and the few critics that have seen it have like it, so hopefully it will be better than all that. Who knows, it could be a crock of crap, but regardless it looks campy as hell.

Check out the trailer above and the first poster below.

This week on American Horror Story Coven brought us the beloved Halloween episode that we all look forward to each year, and after a pleasing two-parter in the first season, we were always getting something to die for, and luckily 'Fearful Pranks Ensue' strikes just that; though, the Halloween spirit could have been cranked up a notch or two.
