'Trick 'r Treat 2' Announced!! Best News of the Year? I think so!

Yes that's right, Trick 'r Treat 2 was announced during the screening of the first last night, and I don't know about you, but to me this is the best sequel news that has come all year!! And as you can see from the title picture, Sam is back! Oh I am geeking out right now. Someone hold me!

The 2009 anthology features four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; and a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband.

The Walking Dead - Episode 4.03 "Isolation" Review

Last week of The Walking Dead gave us yet another fantastic episode that teased us with the fact that someone within the prison was feeding the walkers, causing the fences to cave in, and with an ending like that, that involved Tyreese finding the crisped bodies of his fancy Karen and another civilian only left things hanging off the cliff. Thankfully Episode 3 'Isolation' dives right into that plot as doesn't back out, delivering a straight-faced action-based episode that blows the previous two out of the water. Isolation answered most of the pesky questions we wanted, plus adding some further character development that make some change for the better, and the worst.

BLOG OF THE WEEK #13 - THIS IS COOL

Clearly inspired by SFX, this blog delivers sufficient blog design and reviews to present a blog that is aimed the one of the largest genre audiences; and thankfully the material does not disappoint.

The Walking Dead - Episode 4.02 "Infected" Review

Once again The Walking Dead is able to come back and prove that there is still a strong life in this undead show, and Season 4 Episode 2 'Infected' proves just that by injecting emotion subtle emotion back into the show that made the first season so infamous. Surpassing the first episode, Infected is living proof that the show is perfectly functioned to go back to what made the show so loved, and if you had doubts about this season due Season 3 (which I loved) then look no further  Season 4 has gone off with a bang, and at this rate it will only get better.

First Trailer for 'Wolf Creek 2' Stalks the Outbacks

The first official trailer for Wolf Creek 2 has been released today, and being a huge fan of the original I could not contain my excitement when news broke out that the trailer was online, and to my pleasure, it trailer proved to be very strong and very intense, just like Wolf Creek should be! This trailer doesn't match the intensity or spark from 2005's trailer, but it's still strikes hope that this sequel may actually match the original.

I'm excited, are you? Here's the trailer below!

BLOG OF THE WEEK #12 - THIS IS HORROR

On my daily hunt for horror review sites I thought I would take a different root and type into the search box "Horror reviews Wordpress"; after a couple of page flicking and blog scanning I came to a halt at This is Horror, and to my surprise I was extremely pleased with what I was viewing - a generously crafted horror review site with a nasty taste for horror with a pleasantly strong after-taste. This is Horror was a treat.

'The Walking Dead' Episode 4.01 "30 Days Without an Accident" Review

Yes folks that's right, The Walking Dead has returned finally to our screens to deliver us the weekly dose of great zombie action we have missed over the past few months, and all that gore-tastic zombie action is back on screens, and thankfully it is in fact better than ever. Premiering on AMC last night in the US and not hitting screens until Friday on Fox over here in the UK, I thought I would stick it on the big screen, pop open the Pringles and crack open a nice can of Coca-Cola to get the full effect of one of my favourite TV Shows of all time, The Walking Dead. The result was more than satisfying.

Starting off with the prison, showing us the gang, how far they have come, along with a various amount of faces without names; the prison has become a home, and to the return of Michonne, the gang go food-hunting, leaving Rick to his own devises in which he stumbles across an unwanted visitor. Things start to get (extremely) messy on the trip to the shopping mall, and as the group hunt for food they find themselves trapped by many walkers who found their way in.

'American Horror Story: Coven' Episode 3.01 "Bitchcraft" Review

Finally, American Horror Story returns to deliver another Season of twisted tales and chilling thrills; but this time, it returns with Camp cranked up to 9, with tongue placed firmly in cheek, with Bitchcraft surely in work. Coven, the third season to the hit anthology horror show hit US screens late of last night, I simply could not wait until the 29th to catch it here in the UK, so I leaped right into the first episode, appropriately named 'Bitchcraft', and boy, it's a bitch to be a witch.

'Sleepy Hollow' Episode 1.04 "The Lesser Key of Solomon" Review

Sleepy Hollow reaches its fourth episode this week with Fox in the US, and after the conformation of a Season 2 I am pretty sure this show is going down a blast with everyone else like it is with me. Unfortunately this weeks episode "The Lesser Key of Solomon" didn't deliver as strong as it could have which is a real shame, but to see some progression with the narrative is a refreshing sign considering we haven't seen it since back at the first episode; ouch.

BLOG OF THE WEEK #10 - BEN'S BASEMENT

Ben's Basement, a fun movie blog that brings the latest in film reviews and delivers them in a playful, slightly comedic manner. Coming across this blog through Ben's involvement with Horror Focus, I found myself delightfully surprised with what Ben's Basement had to offer, and that cinematic turd rating to me is great.

Another 'Carrie' Clip Gets us Ready for the Prom

Another clip for Carrie is released, presenting the growth of darkness within her, and quite frankly, it's very fascinating. Starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore, this clip shows a little more of what Carrie is capable of. I don't know why but I have a really good feeling about this film judging by the previous clips and trailers, and personally, I think Moretz could do an impressive job, as well as Moore obviously.

New Line's 'Final Destination 6' Concept Trailer is Unusual, yet Strangely Fun

Alexander McNeill shared this concept trailer to the world by releasing it online, and it is this that he wants off the ground for a New Final Destination film, and although this concept trailer is borderline Pirates in the Caribbean, it is still oddly fun and unusually fascinating. I'm not saying this is the type of sequel I would be looking out for, but I'm not saying it wouldn't be refreshing to see a genre franchise like that take an unusual turn for better or for worse: either way, if this was to be released tomorrow I would still go see it.

Check out the obscene but cool concept trailer below and let me know here your thoughts on it!

Here is the closet clip, check it out!

'Scream: The Series' Will Head in the Supernatural Direction. What?!

So a couple of days ago news broke out about Harvey Weinstein pushing for Scream 5, and as good as all that news was, it has almost been spoiled by the latest news on the TV Series; that news being that MTV are pushing the Scream Series into the Supernatural direction... WHAT?!!

Could the New 'Friday The 13th' Be a Found-Footage Slasher?

Words has broke out and has spread like wildfire about the soon-to-be-happening sequel owned by Paramount that is Friday The 13th. Now, whether or not this news will go down like a led balloon with fans or not is still unknown, but this bizarre news of a found footage Jason Voorhees could either go really well or really bad for the franchise.

'Sleepy Hollow' Episode 1.03 "For the Triumph of Evil" Review

Sleepy Hollow continued this week on Fox in the US (hitting Universal soon in the UK), so I sat myself down and flicked on the latest and third episode from the intriguing show that takes the shape of the Sleepy Hollow tale: you know, the film with Johnny Depp in it. Well anyways, this week was about the dream maker that is the Sandman, a once childs tale of a spirit that makes them go to sleep, now a freaky bleach shape with gaping black eyes and a lust for sandy eyeballs; there's my childhood out the window.
