First 'Leprechaun: Origins' Trailer Looks a lot Better than it has Any Right to Be

For the record, I'm Irish, and see all this "we all live on farms and we look like we are a few centuries behind" crap is something you americans got to let go...

The first trailer for upcoming straight-to-DVD sequel Leprechaun: Origins has been released, and for a franchise that is worse than HIV, this looks surprisingly fun.

Backpacking through the lush Irish countryside, two unsuspecting young couples discover a town’s chilling secret. Ben (Dunbar), Sophie (Bennet), David (Fletcher) and Jeni (Roxburgh) quickly discover the idyllic land is not what it appears to be when the town’s residents offer the hikers an old cabin at the edge of the woods. Soon, the friends will find that one of Ireland’s most famous legends is a terrifying reality.

WWE Studios and Lionsgate will be releasing on VOD on August 26th, and September 30th on DVD/Blu-Ray. So if your looking to spice up your life with little bit of midget murder then keep your calenders clear because Hornswoggle, or Leprechaun I should call him, will be hitting your screens. For now however, here is the trailer
